Mineral Oil Type API SG/SJ/SL Gasoline Engine Oils

API SG: This specification was introduced in 1989 and is suitable for gasoline engines in passenger cars and light trucks. It provides protection against engine deposits, wear, and oil thickening. However, it is an outdated specification and is not commonly used today.
API SJ: This specification was introduced in 1996 and is an improvement over API SG. It provides better protection against engine deposits, wear, and oil thickening. It is suitable for gasoline engines in passenger cars and light trucks.
API SL: This specification was introduced in 2001 and is an improvement over API SJ. It provides even better protection against engine deposits, wear, and oil thickening. It is suitable for gasoline engines in passenger cars and light trucks.
